1. At the top of the sidebar, there is a link to the AFGE Defends Democracy Facebook page and an option to “like” the page.
2. Under that are the two most recent tweets from @AFGE4Democracy.
3. The third item on the sidebar is a link to sign up to register to vote.
4. The next tool shows the headlines of, with links, the last five blog updates.
5. The “Archives” tool lets you go back and check posts from previous months.
6. The “Tag Cloud” highlights commonly used tags, or topics, in the blog. You can click on these tags to view the blog posts that reference these topics.
7. The final tool is a search bar that allows you to search for specific topics, words, people or posts from the blog.
